王锡良1922年生于景德镇、中国首席工艺美术大师(1979年第一届当选)、中国瓷坛泰斗，12岁随叔父王大凡(“珠山八友”之一、景德镇陶瓷美术名家)学绘瓷画，他中年变法，从绘画基础入手，练素描画速写，深入生活，师法自然，博览众长、涉足景德镇的乡间林野，远游祖国名山大川，收集了丰富的第一手画稿，开阔了视野，拓宽了思路，丰富了创作源泉，不断推出新作。在70多年陶瓷艺术创作生涯中，王锡良以山水、人物画最为擅长。他的作品大处着眼有气势，小处观之有意味，因善画中国画，刻意在陶瓷作品中揉进中国画。中国画讲究神韵，计白当黑的形式美感。王锡良的作品，讲究立意，注重装饰，追求静水流深的艺术效果。欣赏他画作时，“简约”是一种审美情结。它简洁，单纯，婉约，不加缀饰，不复色彩，天然成趣，流畅明快。在创新方面，王锡良堪称典范。他早期便开始利用油料的流动创作过《黄山图》，在一件《停琴待月来》的瓷瓶中，抚琴昂首的人绘在一面，而月亮则在另一面，在构图中便是一种非常大胆的创新。
Wang Xiliang was born in Jingdezhen in 1922, China's chief arts and crafts masters (elected in the first session in 1979), China's porcelain titan, at the age of 12 with his uncle Wang Dafan (“eight friends of the bead mountain” one of the Jingdezhen ceramic art masters) to learn painting porcelain, he changed in his middle age, starting from the foundation of the painting, practicing sketching and painting sketches, in-depth life, mastering Nature, the exposition of the long, wading in the countryside of Jingdezhen, traveled to the motherland famous mountains and rivers, collected a wealth of first-hand drawings, broaden the horizons, broaden the ideas, enrich the source of creativity, and continue to introduce new works. In more than 70 years of ceramic art career, Wang Xiliang is best at landscape and figure painting. His works have momentum in the big picture, small view has meaning, because good at Chinese painting, deliberately in ceramic works into the Chinese painting. 近期我公司征集了一件王锡良的《高贵吉祥》镶器，器型为四方镶器，景德镇俗语：十圆不如一方，一方抵得百圆。此器画工精美，将王氏家传落地粉彩技艺与传统粉彩的完美结合，韵味十足，器形端正，釉水肥润。典藏尺寸高26厘米，口径6.5厘米。藏品以四幅富贵吉祥花鸟图为主图，创作在四方镶器之上，四幅花鸟图均是王锡良的经典之作，多余年来都是纸质复刻，从未走上过陶瓷之上。富贵吉祥是中国传统吉祥图案之一，表达了人们对美满幸福生活、富有和高贵的向往。富贵：富裕而又有显贵的地位。吉祥：好运之征兆，祥瑞，吉利，幸运等。吉者，福善之事，寓意着吉利、幸运；祥者，嘉庆之微，寓意着祥瑞。
